“If you had the opportunity to stand in front of a group of young adults, what is a piece of advice you would give them?”
“Hmm. That’s a good question. Honestly, have fun. Get experiences. Money’s going to go away at some point, and you are going to come out of college with a deficit, as everyone does, or seems to at least. Experiences are what matter and they’re what you are going to live with forever. You are always going to have those memories. Experience life, have fun. Do stupid shit!”
“What if money were no object? What would you do?”
“If I accumulate a vast wealth? Definitely start doing more mission trips. I went on a mission trip to Honduras back when I was in my junior year of high school and it just really opened my eyes to poverty around the world. I know that’s like the most over said answer, but it’s so true. The little kids there, they are happy as ever with the smallest little thing. If you can just give them that smile it’s… I don’t know, you can’t put words to it.”
